Laser Treatments

Laser for Pigmentation

Have you developed brown age spots and pigmentation after years in the sun?
You may be looking to reduce or remove these in favour of a clearer complexion.
These can appear due to sun exposure are are common on the

face hands and chest area.
Laser treatment causes the area to darken

temporarily and this flakes off in a few days to leave

brighter lighter skin. Several treatments may be required.
It is recommended to protect the skin with SPF

and from further sun exposure to avoid new lesions forming.
A range of professional Sunblocks can be purchased from

the clinic for every skin type so you can protect your skin.
Any lesions that are new, raised, itchy, sore, non healing or changing

in shape or size MUST be seen by the GP first to exclude malignancies.
The laser treatment also has a rejuvenating effect on the skin as a

bonus to the results. This occurs as natural collagen is stimulated as

part of the process. A patch test must be preformed prior to treatment.
